Vase Silhouette d'Art - Monet Water Lilies
This famous Monet piece was painted in oil in 1906 and depicts a serene pond with water lilies and reflections of the clouds. It is beautifully recreated on this sculptural vase with its uniquely profiled top edge. By 1883 onwards, Monet lived in the village of Giverny and worked on a series of paintings which depicted the same subjects in varying light and weather conditions. The subject of one of these series was the pond with water lilies in his own garden, which he painted over 250 times.
